You Are Special:-)

At some point in our life, we all desire to feel important.. Sometimes by friends, sometimes by families, sometimes by colleagues, sometimes by boss, many a times by the ones we love.. We smile and laugh when they are happy and we get irritable when they frown.. There are times when I sit back and wonder, why should anyone give me this importance? What did I do to get this special love from so many people? And then a thought comes to me.. May be at some point in life, I made them feel important.. may be just at the moment when they truly needed it.. I comforted them.. Just how I would have wanted someone to comfort me in that situation.. Its strange how from nowhere sometimes there are these people (angels in disguise I say) come into our life and sit right next to us.. Witnessing the whole drama and trying their best to be empathetic and assuring that ‘life has better things in store’ and that ‘everything will be allright’. Even though there are times when you feel like slapping anyone and everyone for saying these things to you, it feels nice to be loved by someone even in that messy exasperating state. There are times when we recognize these angels and there are times when we don’t and continue to blame God for not coming at our rescue.. Look into your lives and you will find at least one such incident where you needed that hand to comfort you and you found it right then.. Amongst known and unknown faces.. Amongst stranger and familiar faces.. These are the ones who have made your life beautiful in some way or the other.. And these are the ones to whom I am most grateful for in life.. If you have recognized these angels in your life by now, ask yourself... When was the last time you became this angel for someone else? When was the last time you made someone else’s life beautiful?? When was the last time someone else was equally grateful to you??

Life is rocky and we all need a hand to help us walk through the shaky path.. Be someone else’s hand and make this world a beautiful place to live in:-) You are the most wonderful creation of God.. And I am blessed to have you in my life:-) Now it’s your turn to go out and make someone else feel special about themselves:-)
